Modified radius corner design in the open end offers greater strength than hex designs. Opening size is stamped at both ends and on both sides in large markings for ease in identification. 15° box end offset is coined, producing a true 15° offset for obstructions. Radius corner design in the box end engages the flats of the fastener, not the corners, providing 15%-20% more torque.
